Who we are

CoffeeMage is a coffee-brewing app made by Coffee One, part of the Pulse Factory studio. This policy covers both the CoffeeMage mobile app and this website, coffeemage.app.

What this website collects

The website uses privacy-respecting analytics (PostHog) to count visits and understand which sections people read: pages viewed, referrer, browser and device type. We do not create advertising profiles, we do not use third-party ad trackers, and we do not sell any data.

What the app collects

To do its job, the CoffeeMage app stores:

• Your account — the email you sign in with.
• Your brew data — recipes, brews, ratings, tasting notes, beans and gear you add. This is the product: it is what the coach reasons over to suggest your next change.
• App analytics — anonymous usage events (which features are used, crashes) so we can fix and improve the app.

The AI coach

When you use the AI Brew Coach, your brew data (recipe parameters, ratings, notes) is sent to an AI model to generate a recommendation. It is used only to produce your suggestion; it is not used to train models and is not shared beyond the processing needed to answer you.

Payments

Premium subscriptions are handled entirely by the App Store and Google Play. We never see or store your card details.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your data to anyone. Data is shared only with the service providers that run the app (hosting, analytics, AI processing), each bound to use it solely to provide the service.

Your data, your call

You can ask us to export or permanently delete your account and all brew data at any time. Email hello@coffeemage.app and we will handle it within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above. Material changes will be announced in the app.
